Jacob Lee -Chairman Email: jacobleerau@gmail.com Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/ReachingAfricasUnreached When I was saved in 1975 the Lord gave me a passion for missions. In 1977 the Lord used Leonard Ravenhill to imprint Romans 15:20 on my heart. Since then I have had the privilege of ministering a number of times in India, Uganda, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Pakistan. My wife and I want the remaining years of our lives spent living out this God given call. My first trip to Uganda was in 2006. Carol and I moved in July 2013 to the R.A.U. land north of Moyo West Nile Uganda. RAU is two kilometers from the South Sudan border. We earnestly request your prayers! Testimony: “I Remember” These quotes help express my heart and desire: “The Holy Spirit will move them (the lost) by first moving you. If you can rest without their being saved, they will rest too. But if you are filled with agony for them, if you cannot bear that they should be lost, you will soon find that they are uneasy too. I hope you will get in such a state that you will dream about your child or hearer perishing for lack of Christ, and start up at once and begin to cry, ‘Give me converts or I die.’ Then you will have converts.” (CH Spurgeon) “Ministers knock at the door of men’s hearts (persuasion)…the Spirit comes with the key and opens the door.” (Thomas Watson) “No reserve, no retreat, no regret.” (William Borden) “Some like to live within sound of church or chapel bell; I would like to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell.” (C.T. Studd) “I’m not afraid of failure; I’m afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter.” and “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God” (William Carey:Missionary to India–1761-1834) “Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn’t. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever. So worship is the fuel and goal of missions.” (John Piper in Let The Nations Be Glad page 11). “This is the mission of God. Missionary martyrs going, financial martyrs sending; and all of us praying and working together, for the gospel and the glory of God to be known and enjoyed by all peoples.” and “Reckless is right when the cause is Christ” and “Risk is right when the reward is Christ” (David Sitton). Patrick Bukenya Email- Treasure patrick_bukenya@yahoo.comMarried: Victoria Nambasa on December 14 2002.Children: Genesis Luana Bukenya and Gabbie Psalms Bukenya. Ministry Information: Missions Pastor since 1994 in the First Presbyterian Church in Uganda (PCU).Home: Kampala City, Uganda My brief life background:I was born in a polygamous family and we are 21 children though some have gone to be with the Lord. My mother separated with my Dad when I was five years old and life was very hard when I was growing up. The Lord in His grace saved me in 1987, when First Presbyterian Church did a gospel outreach in our home area. I have served in the Youth ministry, Mercy and Missions. I have been part of many church planting missions in our church, Crusades and School outreaches. By God’s grace I have been used by God to reach people believing in witchcraft, Muslims etc, with the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What I see as the priority is reaching the unreached through Gospel Evangelism, Discipleship and Church Planting. Before His ascension, our Lord gave the Great Commission to make disciples by going into all the world, teaching them all He commanded them and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In RAU we believe that we must engage in gospel evangelism and discipleship in order to see the Kingdom of our Lord advance. Our Lord has made this promise; “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18 With this great promise of Scripture, we are assured that the Church, the body and bride of Christ himself, will grow in these places that He has called us to serve Him, Northern Uganda, South Sudan and Eastern Congo. May He be pleased to use us, His servants in the building of His church. In executing our mission, we strive to be:
