All of us at Reaching Africa’s Unreached are very grateful for God’s people who been praying and sacrificially giving, Together we will press on in our goal to spread the fame of King Jesus. These videos were all done in Kampala, the capitol of Uganda. Kampala is good days drive, much of it over dirt roads, south from the R.A.U. land.

Pastor Abraham and his family have been such great hosts while in Moyo working on the R.A.U. Guesthouse/Hall of Tyrannus and proclaiming the glorious gospel.

Bus trip from Moyo to Kampala

R.A.U. is not far from the Nile River and must be crossed to get to Kampala.

My friend and fellow R.A.U. co-worker "Nurse" Sam leading the way to our ferry which took us across the Nile. The regular Nile ferry was broken so we had to use the "spare". It was hardly big enough for the bus. When we came to Moyo the bus broke down and it also broke down on the way to Kampala about 4 hours north of the city. The bus driver flagged down other buses and so we finished our 12 hour trip on another bus...it was a "bit" crowded :-) — My friend and fellow R.A.U. co-worker “Nurse” Sam leading the way to our ferry which took us across the Nile. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery traversing from the Northern Uganda/South Sudan bush to the metropolitan Kampala.

A Day On Metu Mountain North Uganda

We had the joy of spending Sunday October7 with Aya Baptist Church on Metu Mountain (Appalachian size). We left early in the morning. The road was very difficult and required 4 wheel drive. Usually roads here are bad because of ruts made during the rains. However the road up Metu is bad because it has some very steep inclines with loose rocks.

We made it to the church about 9:30 and the service started at 10:30. It lasted until 2:30. There was lots of music, Sam preached once and I preached twice. We then broke for lunch and after lunch Abraham preached and I shared some final words. I first visited this church in 2010 when we had a three day conference there. Since then the church has grown and has planted two churches in neighboring villages on the mountain. I am excited about RAU’s developing relationship with these churches and many others.

Videos and Pictures: A Sunday along the Nile

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

In 2007 I had the privilege of bringing in 500 Reformation Study Bibles. This one was given to Bosco and as you can see he has been in it much. I continue to hear reports from pastors throughout Uganda and South Sudan on how much a blessing they have been. One of R.A.U.'s goals is to place Reformation Study Bibles and ESV Study Bibles in to as many pastors hands as possible — In 2007 I had the privilege of bringing in 500 Reformation Study Bibles. We had some great fellowship and lunch after church. Lunch consisted of Nile smoked fish, fish soup,sweet potato, chapati, cassava flour bread, and tea.

We saw many of these Tse-tse Fly net traps along the Nile. The Tse-tse Fly passes on "Sleeping sickness" which is prevalent is this area. The beginnings of a new well-Video

I am just in from working with Water Harvest International‘s front team for boring wells. They have a great ministry and drill wells all over this region. We pulled a survey line 300 meters (984 feet) from our north fence to our south fence and would you believe the best pool of water on that line was right at the corner of of the Guesthouse….I am continually amazed at God’s favor! The water is at 42 meters (138 feet) and looks to be be good on the computer ….yeah no more bottled water and no more hiring ladies to haul water for us in jerry cans on their heads.

We are standing at the sight of our new bore hole. I am with the two great brothers from World Harvest International who located this prime spot!
