For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

This view was part of our early morning drive to Utubanga Village ChurchUtubanga Village ChurchPreaching at Pastor Bosco’s village churchPastor Bosco receiving his ESV Study Bible and several Christian books. In 2007 I had the privilege of bringing in 500 Reformation Study Bibles. This one was given to Bosco and as you can see he has been in it much. I continue to hear reports from pastors throughout Uganda and South Sudan on how much a blessing they have been. One of R.A.U.’s goals is to place Reformation Study Bibles and ESV Study Bibles in to as many pastors hands as possibleHaving some fun with a child after church….at least I was having fun :-).We had some great fellowship and lunch after church. Lunch consisted of Nile smoked fish, fish soup, sweet potato, chapati, cassava flour bread, and tea.We saw many of these Tse-tse Fly net traps along the Nile. The Tse-tse Fly passes on “Sleeping sickness” which is prevalent is this area. The traps help bring down the numbers Tse-tse Flies.
