That’s A Wrap!…Well, Just About

(More pictures and a video below)

By Carol Lee

By now, Jacob and I would have been to the States for our annual 3-month visit and would already be packed and ready to return to Uganda. As it is, we still have some weeks left before we visit family, friends and supporting churches in the US. Extenuating circumstances lengthened our stay, but it has been providential in allowing Jacob to WRAP up the last of the renovations on campus and ready us for another year of fruitful ministry as well as to receive other missionary families to join us as God provides.

It has been a long year of steady physical as well as administrative/managerial effort for Jacob in overseeing the building projects and keeping in contact with partners in the US and Canada in addition to expanding RAU’s network of ministry collaborators. We are so grateful for the way the Lord connects us to others who have similar visions so that we can all go far together in Kingdom mission. As the saying goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

We recently returned from a short getaway at our favorite spot in Entebbe. Now, in about one month we will complete the final WRAP up before traveling to the States. Once again, we are blessed to be able to put the management of the campus and its activities into the capable hands of Onette Zorah (Bachelors in Child Development and soon receiving his Masters in Business Administration with a major in organizational leadership). He has proven to be valuable to the ministry as have our friends and co-workers in Kampala, Bukenya Patrick (COO) and Kalunda Thomas (CFO) and the folks that help us out here on campus.

Here is what has been happening since the last update:

  • The site for the borehole for the UPDF (Ugandan army) has been found and drilled and officially opened by Local government leaders as well as Jacob. Due to some insecurity at the border between South Sudan and Uganda, the Ugandan government wanted to install a large UPDF barracks to keep peace and stability in our border region. The road to the designated site was too rough for the drilling trucks to reach easily, so the district assigned a bulldozer to grade a road to the borehole site so that the drillers could push forward. Once the road was complete, it did not take long for the local drilling company to hit water. This borehole will be a tremendous help, not only for those in the barracks but also for the nearby communities and, Lord willing, an in-road for the Good News of Jesus Christ we long to bring to the people.
  • RAU has been supporting the church plants in the Metu Mountains to gradually improve their meeting areas. Termites are a troublesome enemy and they are equal opportunity devourers of anything wood. During rainy season, the ground turns to mud. RAU has helped them to get cement columns and metal roofing in the past and now, in a couple of locations, the churches are having slabs put in. Duku and Oyo Community Baptist Churches both received slabs which will make much better places to meet.
  • Pastor Tobious and Jacob have known each other since 2010; RAU has developed a wonderful ministry partnership with him and Aya Baptist Church for which Tobious is the senior pastor. Recently, the church plants which were birthed out of Aya and Ijujo Baptist churches began the process of applying for membership in the Baptist Union of Uganda. RAU’s desire has always been to come alongside church plants for 8 villages to move them towards self-governance, self-sufficiency and self-propagation. This coincides with the motto of the Baptist Union: “To bring churches to spiritual maturity and equip them for God’s mission.” Membership involves many processes and fees towards which we have been able to contribute. Pastor Tobious has great vision for his “corner of the world” and for his people and works tirelessly to bring them good.
  • The Arapi/Gbari (the “G” in Gbari is almost silent) Community Baptist Church building is finally and fully complete–the last step was to get “Arapi/Gbari Community Baptist Church” is painted and it has been done well! Pray that this church will be a place of worship, learning, fellowship and mission. It is our hope that it also be a training center for smaller churches in Metu Mountains northern side. Aya Baptist vision is to do the same for small southern Metu Mountain churches. Aya Baptist also received a small face lift via a new coat of paint on the walls.
  • Literature distribution continues on a regular basis: Africa Study Bibles to Church leaders in Uganda, Refugee settlements, South Sudan and the Nuba Mountain region, and Global Outreach Bibles to students and congregation members.
  • RAU was able to get 4,000 more Prosperity Gospel booklets and 5,000 of ABWE’s Good Soil publication, “Message of Hope” (MOH) booklets (in Aringa-) printed through a wonderful partner–Ekisinga Publishing out of Jinja, Uganda. We want all leaders to receive a copy of the Prosperity Gospel booklet to make them aware of the dangers and false promises of the Prosperity Gospel. The MOH booklet will be distributed mostly in Yumbe District where Aringa is spoken.
  • RAU is supplying two Bible School libraries–one in Gulu and the other in Adjumani–with theological books for students in attendance. We have also provided at least 5 graduating classes around (mainly) the West Nile but also beyond with Africa Study Bibles for the students.
  • Crossway Publishing has given RAU license to post 15 different theological books in Arabic making them available for free to a large population of Arabic speaking people. This is a huge blessing to leaders who might not otherwise have access to such wonderful resources.
  • Dr. Steve Wellum, Professor at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, has produced 26 lessons (each 25-30 minutes in length) on the first tier Christian doctrines of the Trinity and the Person of Christ which will be uploaded to the RAU website. Stateside, Wayne Reigel is organizing the project to put these lessons on thumb drives and MicroSD cards for easy access for those with smart phones.
  • The Yumbe–RAU Branch: With the Land title secured for the property in Yumbe, we are only waiting to reach the full amount of funding necessary to drill a borehole, build a wall around the property and build a home for potential team members which would also serve as a teaching/discipleship space. So far, $40,000 has been set aside from a donation of Blackhawk Mintries. The goal is $246,000. Please read about the vision of an RAU on the ground branch in Yumbe which would be set amoung the Aringa tribe which listed as unreached people group and put RAU closer to Bidi-Bidi Zones One and Two Refugee Resettlement camps which is home to many Sudanese.
  • On October 24th, we will attend another graduation at Bidi Bidi Refugee Resettlement where Joshua Abraham Rawi has led another group of church leaders through 14 theological books and some few pamphlets. Joshua has been faithfully leading 2 groups per year in this study for the last 5-6 years.
  • Praise the Lord! With finishing touches and being done on campus as I write, we now have 4 beautiful homes for missionary team members to join. Of course, the Langworthy’s, and Jacob and I occupy two of them. We look forward to others joining us in days to come. For those interested, please go to ABWE and browse under “Serve” and then ” Browse Opportunities” to see the positions we are hoping to fill. As missionaries must raise their own support, we are looking for those who can accomplish this in addition to raising money for the funding of ministry activities.
  • In the town of Kochi, along the route to Yumbe and Arua, the Land Cruiser broke down some years back. While waiting for repairs , Jacob was approached by a Local Councilman to come and preach there–which he did. Now a small church has been planted and is being pastored by Ofezu Wilson. For the longest time they were meeting under a tree or in a local school, but now they are trying to build a small structure in which to gather. Pastor Wilson has come by for some “carpets” or tarpaulins to cover the simple structure they have built. Jacob also sent along Bibles and some theological books. This kind of providence brings such joy.

Praise and Prayer Requests

  • Praise the Lord for the energy and stamina to finish the long haul of building
  • Praise the Lord for our upcoming visit in the States to see family, friends and churches. Lord willing we leave Entebbe for Texas on November 16th.
  • Praise the Lord for His gracious supply for every aspect of ministry, whether here on campus or out in the communities
  • Pray for the fast spreading Ebola outbreak in next door D.R. Congo to be stopped and a wall to prevent cross border contamination.
  • Prayer for our travels within Uganda and the USA–safety and minimal disruption in travel
  • Pray for our co-workers here that they would experience health, energy and provision as they serve the Lord in their various capacities
  • Pray that the Lord of the Harvest would thrust forth laborers (future missionary team members) and pray that their fund-raising efforts would be fruitful and timely
  • Pray for and consider giving towards the Yumbe RAU Branch
  • Please pray for Jacob’s family in the loss of their father, Keith Lee. He passed away in Hospice care and was peaceful at the end. He would have been 96 on November 7th. We are grateful that he knew the Lord and we rest in the assurance that his faith in Christ has gained him entrance into a joyful inheritance in heaven.

And, well….That’s a WRAP–for now! Please enjoy some photos (below) that highlight the updates listed (above)!

Jacob’s father and one of Jacob’s favorite pictures of him as a child on his father’s lap.

1) Nkata and Lawrence (expert carpenter and finisher) are responsible for all the beautiful furniture and cabinetry around the campus. Here are some of the results of the skilled hard work of many over this past year on the missionary homes. Jacobs experience as general contractor in Texas served these projects well.

2. Jacob and the crew going to check for a borehole site where the barracks will be. He had a little protection with him!! The soldiers all received Africa Study Bibles and ESV Outreache Bibles and a commentary by Tim Keller on the Gospel of Mark. Here is the location. Jacob is targeting the barracks and village Abaya as a preaching point and Lord willing a church plant.

3. Some of the Metu Mountain church buildings (Arapi/Gbari, Aya, Duku, Oyo) getting a face lift or renovation!

4 .Africa Study Bibles, The Message of Hope in Aringa and a multitude of Bibles and theological books going out to leaders from Uganda, Refugees (Sudan and South Sudan) as well as into the countries of Sudan and South Sudan

5. Jacob and Pastor Wilson (from Kochi, Yumbe District–coming alongside a new church plant)

Day of Remembrance- August 10, 2013

August 10, 2013

August 10,2013 is a day of remembrance. Thirteen years ago today, on August 10, 2013, we dedicated our first structure on the Reaching Africa’s Unreached (RAU) campus. The NGO purchased the original 17-acre land, which has now grown to 25 acres, in January 2011, and building work began soon after. At the dedication celebration, many local church leaders, Christians, and politicians joined us, including Moyo’s Member of Parliament. As you know, Carol and I moved here long term on July 13, 2013. My first ministry trip to Uganda was in August 2006, and the trip to where RAU is now was in March 2007. That is when the vision and mission for RAU was given, encompassed in 2 Timothy 2:2 and Acts 19:10: teaching faithful ones who will teach faithful ones the necessary first-tier truths of Christianity. Without biblically sound pastors/shepherds churches will not be healthy and self producing.

We praise the LORD for how HE has led, guided, and touched the many churches, individuals, and families who have stood with us through their prayers and sacrificial giving. We know that we are standing together and upon the shoulders of those who have inspired and taught us. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! It is our desire and prayer to continue to be faithful stewards and press on proclaiming the glorious good news of the gospel pointing people to King Jesus until the day He takes us to our permanent home with him in heaven. Jesus IS building his church, and the gates of hell will not stop Him!
Below is a link to a blog post from August 10, 2013 with pictures and videos of the celebration day. We were quite a bit heavier back then and had fewer gray hairs: https://reachingafricasunreached.org/2013/08/11/dedication-of-the-rau-guesthousehall-of-tyrannus-and-17-acres/

Below is a link to blog post with pictures and videos detailing RAU’s history from 2011 forward. Physical building continues on campus to this day, alongside, we pray, the right kind of spiritual building (1 Corinthians 3:12-15). We continue to envision a Yumbe On the Ground Branch Campus of RAU:

Aringa Sheikh
Dear Friends of Reaching Africa’s Unreached (RAU)! I hope you are well!

This is an update/opportunity which arose shortly after Carol and I sent out our last newsletter on July 14th entitle “July Headlines.” One of RAU’s priorities from the beginning has been distributing Study Bibles, Bibles, and sound biblical books to church leaders, church members, students, and evangelism efforts. The LORD has opened the door to a number of Christian book printers and distributors. One of those faithful partners for a good number of years has been  Global Christian Book Fund (GCBF) formerly CBIO. GCBF has changed locations to Dover, NH. RAU is blessed to have such an enduring relationship with GCBF and their team. We have received numerous books and Bibles at greatly discounted prices (compare prices at retailers) and have been able to ship these materials, that ride in their containers they send to Uganda each year.

Here is our opportunity with GCBF: To secure these prices we must order a minimum of 500 of each item.

Hardback  NLT Pew Bible: $4.50 per Bible; 500= $2,250.00

Total for materials: $11,475.00.

If funds exceed this amount, we will use the remainder for shipping and handling costs from Dover, NH, to Kampala and then north to RAU.  And  if that is covered we would order additional #’s of materials.

Donation instructions are on our website. Make notation: Books and Bibles- https://reachingafricasunreached.org/donations/

Would you consider helping us get these resources to RAU? We commit to being faithful and prudent in their distribution.

The Prudent Prayerfully Consider Their Steps

“Only simpletons believe everything they’re told!
The prudent carefully consider their steps.”
(Proverbs 14:15 NLT)

“Prudence is an essential quality for navigating the complexities of life. It involves making decisions that reflect a deep understanding of God’s Word and a commitment to living according to His principles. Prudence helps believers to discern truth from error, to manage resources wisely, and to build relationships that honor God.” ( Bible Hub)

It is widely recognized that there has been a significant outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The DRC shares its eastern border with Uganda, and as a result of this geographical closeness and porous border, several cases have also been confirmed in Uganda. During our stay in Uganda, Carol and I witnessed prior outbreaks of Ebola within our home country of Uganda. On those occasions, Uganda effectively managed to contain the virus. Uganda appears to be addressing this outbreak in a similar manner. Notably, what sets the situation in 2026 apart is that the outbreak was identified late in the DRC, resulting in a marked increase in infection rates in the DRC. Note the chart below, which was generated on June 5th:

Due to the recent and significant escalation in travel risks, the United States has issued a Level Four travel advisory for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan, and Uganda. Consequently, we deemed it prudent to cancel the Leadership training events scheduled at Reaching Africa’s Unreached (RAU) Hall of Tyrannus on campus, as well as in Yumbe and Bidi-Bidi Zone One, from June 10th to 22nd, in conjunction with the Forest Hill Presbyterian (PCA) team from Maryland. This decision was regretful and challenging to accept. We have had to remind ourselves, as we did during our previous experience amid the Covid pandemic while in Uganda, that in God’s economy HE has No Plan B’s–only Plan A ! At RAU, we adhere to what I refer to as God’s two “P’s”, prayer and prudence. This includes diligently following all of Uganda’s established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Uganda is arguably the best country in Africa to manage Ebola; however, as we are all aware, it is ultimately Jehovah who can bring an end to the Ebola threat. We kindly request your prayers for our RAU team and that the ongoing Ebola outbreak may be swiftly contained. Thank you!

Furthermore, we may have to postpone our departure date for America, initially scheduled for July 3rd, to a later time, as KLM, our carrier, has temporarily canceled all incoming and outgoing flights from Entebbe. Additionally, certain countries, such as the UAE, are currently prohibiting transit through their airports, and it is possible that other nations may implement similar restrictions. This situation may change should the Ebola outbreak be contained. Carol and I had been looking forward to spending quality time with our three children, their spouses, and our ten grandchildren. We also anticipated reuniting with friends, engaging with our home church, Lifegate, and connecting with our supporters and partnering churches. We also need some rest.

Updated Ministry Events

We are diligently advancing our ministry efforts. Recently, we sent off 20 boxes (totaling 400) of Arabic Bibles, one box of Arabic Study Bibles (4-Van Dyke Translation), and one box of Africa Study Bibles (eight) to Darfur, Sudan, through the Bidi-Bidi refugee camp. These resources were entrusted to our colleague, Darfurian Joshua Abraham, and subsequently to Adam in Juba (another brother from Darfur), before being transported overland to Darfur. Following the removal of Bashir from power, there was a brief period marked by peace and openness. During that time, we managed by God’s grace to send hundreds of Bibles and Arabic literature, such as J.I. Packer’s “Knowing God” and others; many individuals experienced salvation and baptism. I had been planning a ministry trip with Joshua and Adam when the civil conflict between the RSSF and the government erupted. Thousands have tragically lost their lives in what remains a largely unreported war in the international arena. Numerous believers with whom we had established contact have sought refuge in Chad and South Sudan. Given the ongoing conflict, it is a testament to God’s sovereignty that we were able to deliver these Bibles to their destination. We implore you to pray for their safe arrival. We extend our gratitude to Christianbook International Outreach and our generous donors for their support in facilitating getting these bibles to RAU and the transport of them to Darfur.

Getting Bibles and Study Bibles into church leaders hands has been RAU’s ongoing vision and ministry plan. We were blessed to have this picture of a Congolese pastor ESV Global Study Bible he received 2016 (sent to us by oy our dear Congolese brother, Sam who spent several years with us). I first started bringing Study Bibles into our region back in 2007.

D.R. Congo Pastor

From Reaching Africa’s Unreached Mission/Vision page: “…we will endeavor to place ESV Global Study Bibles, ESV Study Bibles , Reformation Study Bibles, Africa Study Bibles, and high-quality doctrinally sound Christian literature into the hands of believers. R.A.U. also continues to partner with Study To Be Approved by placing Kindles loaded with Study Bibles and many sound books into the hands of key Christian leaders/Pastors in the region. In February 2022, a container of 20,861 ESV Global Study Bibles arrived to RAU campus. This brings the total which has come in previous containers and teams to nearly 30,000+ ESV Global Study Bibles for leaders. God be praised!  Recently (in 2021), R.A.U. received 16,000 books and Arabic Study Bibles from The Gospel Coalition International Outreach and Christian Book International.  Also 600,000 dual language tracts , Madi, Aringa, Arabic-English and nearly 7,000 Christian books for pastors arrived in 2022. In July 2024 and August 2025 a total of 43,000 ESV paper backs Pew Bibles were received. Currently by God’s grace to we have received over 16,000 Africa Study Bibles which primarily for local Ugandan and Sudanese church leaders. Each year more  Study Bibles, Bibles, theological books, and dual language gospel tracts will continue to arrive, Lord willing, to RAU. With four shelved 40 foot containers RAU is equipped to be a distribution hub to get these resources to church leaders…”

3,224 Bibles/Study Bibles Distributed

3,224 Bibles/Study Bible Distributed. Many hundreds of ESV Pew Bibles have been going to students in community schools as well many Africa Study Bibles and ESV Global Study Bibles to church leaders in both West Nile Uganda and refugee resettlement camps in Uganda and South Sudan. Zorah, our RAU co-worker who been helping facilitating the transfer Bibles out from RAU states around 3,224 bibles/study bibles have gone out from the RAU campus. Praise God!

10,000 Aringa/English “Message of Hope” Booklets Printed

Ten thousand copies of the “Message of Hope” booklet have been printed, with the majority now at RAU for distribution in support of Aringa discipleship and evangelism initiatives. The Aringa are listed as a “unreached people group” by the Joshua Project. This publication is available in English, with the reverse side featuring the Aringa translation. We express our gratitude to Blackhawk Ministries Church for their generous funding of this endeavor. Originally published by ABWE Good Soil, the Aringa translation was skillfully translated by our Aringa co-worker, Onduga Charles. We successfully obtained permission from ABWE and extend our appreciation to our friends at Ekisinga Publishing in Jinja for facilitating the printing in Jinja, Uganda.

Leadership Training in nearby Bidi Bidi Refugee Resettlement Camps Continues

Co-Worker Joshua Abraham continues to lead two group church leaders in a one year study, one in Bidi-Bidi Zone One and one in Biddi-Biddi Zone Two. Please be in prayer for them as well.

Arapi/Gbari Church Building Progress

Work on the Arapi/Gbari Community Church building continues to progress steadily. We express our sincere gratitude to those who have contributed to this endeavor. This picturesque remote valley had very few Christians when began home to home evangelism late 2014, leading to the birth of the church. Initially, gatherings took place under a tree at a school, followed by another tree at a clinic, and in 2015, a hillside covered with thorns was acquired, which has since been transformed. A concrete slab was poured in 2015, and a modest home was constructed for Pastor Geoffrey, who relocated his family from Aya, where he served as the youth pastor at Aya Baptist. At that time, financial resources were limited, and the church met under a carpet (tarp) . Later in 2015, a used tent was provided and transported within one of RAU’s containers that came from Texas, allowing the church to gather under it from 2017 to 2026, which served the church well. In 2019, funding was obtained to extend the structure to beam level, and subsequently, in early 2026, additional funds arrived to complete the building—just in time, as the tent was in tatters. Plaster work currently is ongoing. Our aspiration is for this facility to also serve as a church leadership training center for the northern section of the Metu Mountains. There are three smaller village church plants in the area, and by God’s grace, we hope to establish more in villages that currently have no church presence. The Lord has been pouring out His Spirit throughout these remote Metu Mountains, and many individuals have come to faith. The significant need is for biblically trained church leaders to ensure these new churches grow both in number and in spiritual health. We request your prayers for these discipleship and evangelism goals and elsewhere where RAU works alongside local churches.

Pictures below: April 2015- June 2026

Recently, an additional parcel of land was integrated into the existing plot, measuring 50 meters by 50 meters; it now extends to 50 meters by 58 meters (refer to the satellite photo taken prior to the roofing work). This expansion will facilitate further development. Acquiring land involves a complex process that necessitates meetings with clan leaders, local political figures, sub-county leaders, and district officials. This process demands considerable patience and adherence to cultural norms. One of the accompanying images illustrates a meeting at the church, where all attendees, including myself as a representative of RAU, spoke. Later in the week, I requested my colleagues, Aaron Langworthy and Onette Zorah, to represent me and RAU at the sub-county level, which they executed effectively. Additional paperwork was completed. Aaron delivered a sermon, and all participants were provided with African Study Bibles (ASB). Furthermore, additional ASBs were brought for the police and political leaders.

Another Borehole (Water Well) Refurbished

This borehole (water well) has recently been refurbished by Reaching Africa Unreached (RAU) to serve the remote villages of Arapi and Gbari located in the Metu Mountain region. The refurbishment was necessitated by the corrosion of steel pipes due to the presence of minerals and iron in the water, which ultimately caused the pump to seize. As a result, village and church members have been forced to revert to the stream for their water supply. Children, particularly the younger ones, are disproportionately affected by the consequences of unclean water. Initially, we removed debris from the borehole. Our efforts began last year, and, by God’s grace and love of his people, our desire is to replace the existing steel borehole pipes with stainless steel alternatives. Although more expensive, stainless steel pipes ensure a longer lifespan for the borehole. While local communities manage minor repairs, larger issues such as this exceed their capabilities. This refurbishment marks our fifth such endeavor. By God’s grace, RAU has successfully established 26 boreholes in challenging locations, providing clean water to the residents of various villages. Your assistance in this initiative would contribute significantly to the long-term well-being of these communities, particularly the children. RAU’s mission is to reach difficult areas with both the gospel and mercy ministries. As John Piper has aptly stated, which resonates profoundly with RAU’s mission, “As Christians, we care about all suffering, most especially eternal suffering.”

On a side note to my fellow Christians and friends, it is important to disregard the unfounded and illogical assertions that individuals who advocate for pro-life perspectives solely care about the unborn in the context of abortion. Pro-life Christians are committed to valuing all human beings, from conception through to old age.

Here is RAU’s Mercy ministry page for you to peruse: https://reachingafricasunreached.org/agriculture-project/

Last report and prayer request: RAU Yumbe On the Ground Branch

As previously reported, our vision and commitment are centered on establishing a physical presence in Yumbe town. This initiative aims to significantly enhance our efforts to strengthen the Aringa Church and effectively engage with the Aringa community, which predominantly comprises Muslims. Furthermore, it would position a RAU team closer to refugee resettlement camps to provide training for leaders there as well. A plot of land has been purchased; however, we require the land title before any construction can commence. We have been working closely and diligently with our Aringa co-worker, Charles, but have encountered numerous obstacles. I trust you can appreciate the challenges we face without further elaboration. We kindly request your fervent prayers for the completion of this title. We have funds held in reserve that are nearly sufficient to complete our first phase. If you have not yet reviewed my write-up, please visit this page to understand how we intend to implement this vision, the rationale behind it, and our planned path forward as the Lord permits and opens doors. Here is the page: “Proposed RAU Yumbe On-the-Ground Branch.”

Yumbe RAU Plot

Here is a remarkable response to prayer! Our ABWE colleagues, Aaron and Amanda Langworthy, have been granted a three-year Ugandan Work Permit. They will depart early tomorrow morning to have it affixed in their passports and attend to other business matters. This permit enables them to proceed with securing dependent passes for their children to remain in the country. We express our gratitude to RAU CFO, Kalunda Thomas, for his diligent efforts in navigating the governmental procedures necessary to facilitate this achievement.

RAU Opportunities to Serve

Take a moment to investigate the substantial long-term opportunities available to serve with RAU/ABWE presented on this page. Our thoughts and prayers are devoted to those who feel a calling to serve at RAU for the long term. The needs are considerable, and the number of willing hands to assist is limited… Matthew 9:38.

With so much gratefulness for all of you who partner with us in their financial support, prayer, encouragement and physical presence,

Love, from Jacob and Carol Lee

Mission and Vision Statements: https://reachingafricasunreached.org/about/

Our Mission is to reach Africa’s unreached, once-reached, and mis-reached people groups with the glorious Gospel of Jesus by planting Christ exalting churches in their midst. Furthermore, we will endeavor to strengthen local churches and their leaders through careful exposition of the Scriptures in the  in the primary (first tier) doctrines of the Christian faith that they may be strengthened to plant churches in nearby villages with  no church and unreached peoples in their geographical regions.
