Over the years I have read many books which the Lord has used to open my eyes. Radical: Taking Back Your Faith From the American Dream by David Platt is one such book! As I am reading it through slowly the second time my eyes are being opened to many blind spots in my life and faith. May I encourage you to to get this book and read it asking the Lord to use it in your life for His glory!

That book is VERY challenging. And the sermon series at http://www.brookhills.org/media/series/radical/ makes very good material for family worship! As my Vincent and I have listened together, we experience the Holy Spirit using these words to effect a transformation of the thought processes that our culture has long nurtured. To paraphrase: If we believe His Word is true, we cannot continue to live our lives the same way! Our choices have eternal consequences.
